Here is a quick look at where we are at. Our place is in Los Corales. We shop and get gas in Fruisa. To get there on a bike or moto concho is little more than 5 minutes. Cortecito is only 2 or 3 minutes from here (a little shopping) by bike, it is shorter if you go along the beach, but since you are walking it is about a 10 minute trek. Veron (pronounced Barrone) is 15 minutes South of here and the Airport is 10 more minutes.
We will likely go to Higuey this week coming up to do a little shopping. That is only as far as Red Deer from Lacombe, but the roads here are not straight and unless you are headed to the airport or Santa Domingo, you can rarely can you go more than 60km/h. It will take an hour to get to Higuey.
