Las Terranas and El Limon

Wednesday. The fellas made it to town (after a flat bike tire) while we had breakfast and toured the beach. Mid morning we made our way to El Limon. The waterfall here is the main attraction but it is not accessible from the road. I will let our pictures tell the story. In the end (as always is here), there was a dispute over money. It was lucky we had Aaron to translate… this would have been out of my league as far as language goes.
We decided to stay another night here. It’s a lot noisier than Bavaro, but the room was $20.






Yes... those are people down there.  We walked down the mountain to get to the falls.  It was a little more than a quarter mile. Straight down! 






At first we thought we could save some cash on the trip if we took the bikes down and back. We know now that there is a reason they use horses.  And there were places the horses wouldn't even go!
