A Map of where we are...

Here is a quick look at where we are at.  Our place is in Los Corales.  We shop and get gas in Fruisa.  To get there on a bike or moto concho is little more than 5 minutes. Cortecito is only 2 or 3 minutes from here (a little shopping) by bike, it is shorter if you go along the beach, but since you are walking it is about a 10 minute trek.  If I did this right, you should be able to click the map and get a larger image.
Veron (pronounced Barrone) is 15 minutes South of here and the Airport is 10 more minutes.
We will likely go to Higuey this week coming up to do a little shopping.  That is only as far as Red Deer from Lacombe, but the roads here are not straight and unless you are headed to the airport or Santa Domingo, you can rarely can you go more than 60km/h.  It will take an hour to get to Higuey.

  3. Wow that is horrible that it is such a long walk on the pristine beach!! You must hate it there lol. Thought i would already have a picture of Barb's beautiful pedicure on the beach, what the heck? So are you guys trying to eat all local cuisine? What is your favourite food so far Ben and Bren? Let me know and we will try to replicate it here for the boys. Well boy i suppose cause i am pretty sure that Trent wont try it. Brad if you could zip home and just help me with this web 1.0 vs web 2.0 project, i would really appreciate.
Love you all and miss you like crazy.

  4. Thanx for the map. It gives us a better idea of your location. We were at Bahia Principe so we have a fleeting recollection of the roads. My most memorable road experience was our tour bus passing a local carrying a 100 lb propane bottle on a moped with the driver holding it cross-ways behind him, in the dark, with no tail light.
